Booking & Cancellation Terms
Effective from 20 September 2026, upon publication.
These terms explain how bookings, payments, changes and cancellations work for photoshoots booked directly with Nelson Teixeira Photography.
Booking and confirmation
Choose your preferred date, time and package on the booking page and complete your payment securely.
Your chosen date and time are subject to my personal confirmation. After payment, I’ll review your request and contact you with confirmation, the meeting point and the final details.
If I’m unavailable at your requested time, I’ll suggest suitable alternatives. If none of them work for you, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you prefer to confirm availability before paying, please contact me on WhatsApp.
Your photoshoot
Each package includes a professional photoshoot in Lisbon, guidance throughout the session and help planning the route and meeting point.
The standard packages cover solo travellers, couples, families and small groups of up to four people:
- 30 minutes: 20 edited photographs.
- 1 hour: 50 edited photographs.
- 2 hours: 80 edited photographs.
For larger groups, events or custom requests, please contact me for a quotation before booking.
Choosing and receiving your photographs
After your photoshoot, you’ll receive a private online selection gallery. You can choose your favourite photographs up to the number included in your package.
Your selected photographs will be professionally edited and delivered in high resolution within 48 hours of your selection.
Additional edited photographs, unedited high-resolution files or a complete gallery without watermarks may be available for an additional fee upon request. These extras are not included in the standard package.
Payment
You can pay by card through the booking page. If you prefer PayPal or bank transfer, please contact me before booking so I can send you the payment details.
If you cancel your booking
If you need to cancel, please contact me by email or WhatsApp and include the name and date on your booking.
The refund depends on how much notice you give before the scheduled start of your photoshoot:
- 48 hours or more: full refund.
- At least 24 hours, but less than 48 hours: 50% refund of the session price paid.
- Less than 24 hours, or if you do not attend: no refund.
Notice is measured from the time your cancellation message is received, using the local time in Lisbon.
If you need to reschedule
You may request one free change of date or time with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
If no suitable alternative can be agreed, the cancellation policy applies according to when you first requested the change.
Changes requested less than 24 hours before the session are not guaranteed. In exceptional circumstances, I may offer a reschedule at my discretion, subject to availability, instead of treating the booking as a late cancellation. This does not create an entitlement to a refund.
If I, your photographer, need to cancel
If I need to cancel your photoshoot, you can choose between an agreed alternative date and a full refund.
If weather prevents the photoshoot
If conditions are unsuitable, we’ll try to agree on a different time or date. If weather prevents the session and we cannot agree on a suitable alternative, you’ll receive a full refund.
Cloudy skies or a forecast of occasional rain do not automatically mean the session must be cancelled. Please contact me so we can assess the conditions together.
Which bookings these terms cover
These terms apply to new direct bookings made after this policy is published. Earlier bookings remain subject to the conditions agreed when they were made.
Bookings through GetYourGuide, Viator or another third-party platform remain subject to the cancellation conditions attached to that reservation.
